Health and Safety

Making sure you comply with health and safety rules and regulations is a necessary part of any business and is also one of the major requirements of the EYFS in England. There are lots of things to be aware of such as safety in the home, food safety regulations, risk assessment, safer outings and so on. If you work in a larger setting such as a nursery you may have someone in charge of your health and safety policy who will help guide you about what you have to do but if you are a childminder it is down to you to check you have everything in place.
